Betsy Donnellan is an illustrator based in Newton, Massachusetts and a recent graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Betsy’s work is driven by a love of storytelling and a deep connection to community, often creating pieces that spark conversation—including activist-focused artwork that encourages reflection and dialogue.

Working primarily in watercolor and digital painting (Adobe Photoshop), Betsy also explores acrylic, oil paint, and graphite. Betsy’s style moves fluidly between stylized realism and cartoon-inspired illustration, often blending the two to create expressive, character-driven worlds filled with warmth and narrative detail.
